Deep sea shipping relates to the maritime transport of our goods on an intercontinental routes, commonly across multiple oceans.

Commonly, in the case of container shipping, these journeys are handled by larger vessels on main regional port to main regional port shipping lanes and smaller vessel handle the regional short sea deliveries of containers from/to other smaller ports to these main ones.
