Combi aircraft

A combi aircraft is an airplane designed to carry both cargo and passengers.

As you can see the main deck is shared between the passenger section and the freight one – whereas the lower deck is designed for baggage, post and cargo.

On the main deck the cargo section can be in the front or rear part of the aircraft.
The size of the cargo / passengers areas are generally modifiable and can be adapted to the cargo, passengers needs for a specific lane or flight.
