Twist lock

A twist lock is a mechanical device used to secure shipping containers to the chassis of semi-trailers, railcars, or ship decks. It features a T-shaped or other kind of handle that, when turned, locks the container’s corner casting securely in place.
Other twist look at also installed on cranes and reach stackers to help them lift containers.

Twist locks are essential for ensuring the stability and safety of containers during transport, preventing them from shifting or falling off.
